It’s coming down to the wire regarding my trip to Branson on May 30th, so I’m making an effort to really plan out what needs to be done and schedule these out over the days I am able to work on the car (Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday). Here are things that need to be done in order to get the car up and running for Branson:

Friday

Finish tweaking throttle cable setup.

Diagnose fan output issue and repair accordingly, also need to ground fan to body.

Mount and ground boost solenoid.

Fill up rear end with gear oil.

Tighten radiator, transmission mount, and all intercooler piping hose bolts/nuts.

Splice stock CLT lead together with lead coming from 22 pin connector from CLT.

Connect fuel tank sender leads to terminals on tank.

Saturday

Solder GM coil module to control with BIPs and install along with proper plug wires.

Purchase nuts and secure relay board and power board to panel.

Purchase and install plug for second wideband bung in downpipe.

Bleed brakes/adjust master cylinder pushrod if necessary.

Purchase Tuner Studio registration in order to take advantage of VE Analyze Live.

Test and tune.

Sunday

Test and tune.

Re install body panels.

 

So there you have it, a rough schedule of what is to happen over this weekend. If all goes according to plan, by the end of the weekend, we will only need to worry about fine tuning the car. My father advises that I use a trailer to get it down there, which I agree with, but half the fun is driving the car the distance!
